[continued a day after here]
Ugh, so how’d he end up getting roped into this? Oh right. Kise said something about “open tab” at the restaurant and the next day, they got into a bit of a row over the phone about price. Which led into this… repayment deal or something. Kagami sighed and rubbed at the back of his head as he walked out the front doors of his school. He had his share of the tab at least. And his gym bag. Because there was that whole private one-on-one with Kise also worked into the deal. Honestly, that part was pretty damn exciting and he was probably grinning on the inside. Just tempered by the money issue.
And that other thing. Shit, what was Kise thinking, sending him those pictures? Which he STILL hadn’t deleted. Both of them were sitting on his phone, in that folder, waiting to be looked at in all their glory. And to top it all off, those pictures kicked off discussions about… well… stuff Kagami wasn’t really ready to start thinking about?! Boyfriends and who likes who and Kise liked Kuroko in that way. The last part was the one that still hit him weird and he wasn’t sure how he felt about it. Kuroko wasn’t exactly expressive if he liked anyone himself. Honestly, if he did like someone, Kagami had no idea who.
And Kise suggested Kagami might like Aomine. Pinching the bridge of his nose, Serin’s ace slung his bag down to rest on the bench and took a seat, gazing out at the road and sidewalk in front of him. The sun was already lowering towards approaching evening, making everything glow gold and orange. This was going to be one hell of an afternoon. For obvious reasons, he’d not texted Kise at all since their last chat yesterday. The team wanted to extend practice today, but considering the agreement, Kagami had to feign another encounter.
Wasn’t like he was gonna fess up about meeting Kise for private games in lieu of additional practice. Kuroko… Well he’d smiled when Kagami left. Somehow, I bet he knows.
